Question: Can I take mucinex!?
I am currently taking avelox antibiotics for pneumonia and I was wondering if its safe to take mucinex while im on these antibiotics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Call the pharmacist who filled the avelox!. It might be best to go there in person with the bottle and tell pharmacy you need to ask a question!. You will get better service!. You can also call the doctor who prescribed avelox, but since it's Sunday, it might be hard to get your doctor who knows your case!.

Mucinex is guaifenisen - I have taken it with antibiotics before, but you should check with your doctor!. If you have pneumonia, the mucinex may make things worse, so check with your doctor to see if you should bother with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
