You may want to check to see if you have a sinus infection!. When fluid gets trapped behind the ear it can cause headaches, and even facial numbness!. I had this problem for weeks and I was checked from everything from MS, Lupus, Lymes and the list goes on!. But anyway I found out that it was from acute sinnunitis !. As the infection goes untreated then the more acute it becomes!. I would see a doctor and have this checked out!. Alavert over the counter will help with nasonex and possible a prescription ear drop!. But if it is really bad then anitbiotics may be necessary, but the doctors do not like to prescribe this treatment for infections!. But it may become necessary!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
