Question: Is pleurisy bad!? What can happen if it's left untreated!?

I was having chest pains last wk thinking my heart was having problems, so i went to the dr and she said i might have pleurisy!. The chest pains have almost completely gone but i have heaps of tightness in my left shoulder blade area which is the side i had the chest pains!. It almost feels like i have a huge knot in my shoulder, it's very uncomfortable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am a RRT and have seen this many times my suggestion is to get it treated or you may end up with an infection and bed ridden or dead here is som info

You can die from pleurisy, so be careful! If one doctor isn't helping you're entitled to see another one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
