I think some people are just prone to getting these infections!. I'm always the first in the house to get them too! Good on you for looking out for you girlfriend!. You're right to worry about her skipping meals!. If she is prone to illnesses like these then she needs to eat regular meals!. Good nutritional ones!. Try to get a good portion of veggies each meal, as well as wholemeal bread or rolls!. They fill you up, and are good for you!. Your diet doesn't sound bad, maybe lacking in a few vitamins!. I think vegetable soups are a great option, if you feel like skipping a meal, they can be as light as you like!. Or if you're very hungry have a big chunky veg soup!. Very versitile!. Look up a good lentil soup recipe - what my mom always used to feed me when I was ill!! :) good luck! I hope ur girlfriend feels better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She really needs to be religious about washing her hands and keeping them away from her face!.
I worked in nursing homes for several years and was always exceptionally careful about hand-washing and keeping my hands away from my eyes, nose, and mouth (the entrance points for bacteria and viruses)!. In fact, I still am and I never get sick!.
I always use hand sanitizer when I get into my car or have handled money!. I also use it after touching countertops and public doorknobs and such!.No, I don't have OCD; I just know how to stay well!.
Also, she really should get on a regular schedule in regards to eating and sleeping!. Eating the right foods can boost one's immune system!.
If she's a CNA at that nursing home, she won't need any additional exercise; those people work their a*s off!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wow!.!.!. that's a lot for 5 months!. It could be that one illness compromised her immune system so that the next could take hold and so forth!.!.!. and if she's not eating healthy, that just hurts her more!. I'd recommend telling her that eating healthy/exercising etc!. is good for her, and I'd also suggest that you help her out with it (so she doesn't feel like she's doing something *for* you, but *with* you instead)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
