Question: I got my armpits waxed and now they are red and hurt!.!.!.!?
I have been waxing my armpits at the same salon for 5 years and this is the FIRST time this has ever happened!.
My armpits are red and they hurt!.!.!.
Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can treat this!?

Perhaps the Salon changed their wax formula to something cheaper or diffrent!. This could explain the irritation!.!. I would call the salon and see if they recently changed the formula's or brand they use in any way possible !. Also perhaps the person that worked with you was new and waxed in a rough manner which can of course lead to bad irritation!. I have been waxing my eyebrows at home for a while!. One day i was in a hurry and Did it very rough and ended up leaving red irritation on my forhead for almost a week!
Try fresh aloe from a grocery store and don't use the Deoderant i'm sorry to say it but read the label never use on irritated or broken skin which is what it sounds like you have a case of right now!. The healing will begin soon enough I reccoment eating lots of protien which boosts all healing properties in your body try some strawberrys aswell!. Check out some A&D oinment it's for rashes and any kind of skin ailment
If you use deoderant right after a waxing that may be the cause of the problem as well!. Good luck in finding the cause and preventing it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Possibly it was someone who'd not worked with you before!?
It happened to my friend on her eye brows!. Sometimes they don't heat the wax enough and end up taking off more than the top layer of dead skin cells!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could try & use cold packs to ease the pain or use some sort of Aloe Vera!. It might hurt a little though, but it is good for wounds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Aloe Vera Soothes irritated skin!. I used it when I waxed too! But it might sting when you put it onWww@Answer-Health@Com
