If my actual Toenail is bleeding... is that bad? And what causes it?!


Question: If my actual Toenail is bleeding!.!.!. is that bad!? And what causes it!?
So!.!.!. I was just trimming my toenails!.!.!. and one of my toenails just started to bleed!. I have a fungus of some kind growing under it!.!.!. however!.!.!. I haven't heard of a toenail, fungus or not, being able to bleed!.

The toenail itself cannot bleed, there are no vessels in it!. You may have cut to close to the quick and the nailbed is bleeding!. If you have a fungus, I would really be careful about how you cut your toenails!. I would also be concerned about using a separate clipper for the affected nail to cut the risk of spreading to the other toes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i had the exact same problem!.!.!.its bleeding because the toenail went under your skin!. What i did was i lifed the toenail a little bit and i put as much as cotton under there as posibly could!.!.!.That lifts your toenail so it doesn't go under the skin!.!.

P!.S: before you lift the toenail!.!.!.you have to soak your feet in the warmest water you can put your feet in with some baking soda or salt in it!.

that softens the nail and its less painful
