Diabetes test?!
Question: Diabetes test!?
Hi, i recently purchased a blood test meter as diabetes is in my familiy and i have all the symptoms of it!. i made a doctors appointment for monday, but wanted to show him what the blood sugars have been like for a week running up to the appointment!. i have just tested my sugar levels and after ice cream an hour ago my levels are only at 5!.00 mmol/l and i read it msut be at least 8 before bed!. is this true!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wonder why you think you may have diabetes, if you do have all the symptoms i!.e!. tiredness, always drinking, going to toilet a lot, maybe cystitus or thrush, it could be leading up to it!. when you go for your appointment, the doc will definitely know if you are or not, but don't let it bother you if you have it, nowadays they can control it with diet and exercise, if they catch it soon enough, 5!.00 is an average result and the reading of 8 before bedtime, is not a must!. hope this helps I have had diabetes now for over 3 years, eat sensibly and exercise good health! xWww@Answer-Health@Com
Dont psych your self out you can actually make yourself sick!. Which is probably why you are experiencing all the symptoms!. Never diagnose yourself its dangerous but go to your doctor because it may be something else!. Also dont forget everyone can find something about themselves that links them to every illness!. My husband is an insulin dependent diabetic and would give his right arm for a reading of 5 after a sugary food like ice cream!. No, you don't have diabetes but you do have a problem if you're so worried that you bought a testing unit!. Talk to your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
