Question: Pregnant with a bacterial Kidney Infection, has anyone had this or something similar!?!!?
Well the whole story is this!.!.!. May 9th I was having the worst pains, I had no clue what was wrong!. I went to the emergency room and it just got worse and worse!. Come to find out I had a kidney stone that was in clogged tube in my kidney!. Which the lead me to get a bacterial infection!. On 5/11 I went in for emergency surgery and they put a stent in so that I could pass the stone and hopefully get better!. I was released a day later with pain meds and the strongest antibiotics I guess I can Take!. It is now a month later and I am still in pain! I have conculted my OB and he said there is nothing we can really do until im 34 weeks and can deliver the baby!. And the urologist I seen last week (who also did the surgery) thinks that I have another infection!. His girls were supposeto take another urine culture, but didnt!. I brought it to there attention and they told me justto go!?!!?! (idiots) Anyhow, I still have alot of pain in the vaginal area, hurts when I use the bathroom, and hurts to waWww@Answer-Health@Com

My advice, go back to the doctor and check of a infection!. A infection of any kind is not good but even worse if you are pregnant!.
This isn't to scare you but when I was pregnant with my last daughter,it turned out I had a very bad kidney infection, this was discovered shortly after I had miscarried--I was pregnant with twins, lost one!. I think it was because of the infection I had that made me lose the one baby!.

If I were you, I would be calling the urologist to make a appointment asap or I would go to the ER!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to go back to that doctor and have them do a urine culture!. Infections can be dangerous for you and your baby!. I can't believe they were so careless about that!! Sounds like they're asking for a malpractice lawsuit!. I think that 34 wks is the earliest a baby can safely be delivered!. If your baby is a healthy enough weight by that point, and the delivery goes smoothly, I don't think the hospital stay would be more than a week or two!. Get help right away!! Even if you have to march up there to that doctor's office and demand it!. If all else fails, go to the ER!. This is serious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
