Answers:
dont worry i had the same thing when i got mine, its only been about a month and a half for me but for the first 2 weeks nearly it was really swollen and red!. it kind of throbbed and burned!.
if you are cleaning it properly, and aren't touching it (except for when you clean it) then it cant really get infected!.
its a pretty harsh piercing and it can take a while for the swelling to go down, when it throbs it could be because you are bending down or standing up really quickly and all the blood is rushing to the site!.
dont worry and try not to panic cos it will make you feel worse about it! relax, and if you still have the same problems in a couple of weeks ask your piercer if its ok!.
i went back to mine after about a month when i was getting another piercing and he looked at it and said it was fine - considering this piercing takes up to a year to heal it wont exactly be pain free after 2 days lol
make sure you are cleaning it with sea salt solution (or something else your piercer advised) i used sea salt diluted in warm water twice a day ish for 2 weeks, then switched to tea tree oil diluted in water about twice a day
good luck xxWww@Answer-Health@Com
