Some sort of disorder? Real answers, please!?!

Question: Some sort of disorder!? Real answers, please!!?
For most of my life, I've been a very sickly person, but no doctor has ever been able to figure out what's wrong with me because they generally think it's just a tummyache and nothing to worry about!. This morning, my thoughts changed about that however!. Lately I've been getting stomach pains that would get so horrible I would become dizzy or throw up and not be able to get out of bed!. I've missed about 1/4 of my entire school year!.!.!.

My symptoms are:
Dizziness or vertigo, stomach pains, nausea, and I'm sick ALL the time!.

Okay, and I also have lactose intolerance but everything I eat doesn't have any form of milk or butter in it!. I was also told that these could be symptoms of a poor immune system, and I really want answers!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You could have a mild immune deficiency!. But you could also have a digestive disorder!.

You could also be reacting to food irritants!. Knowing which they are is another story--but the fact that you have at least one known intolerance makes it possible that you have many!.

Keep a very strict diary that logs the time and location where you have eaten, what you have eaten (right down to the brand of food, and if it's fresh--where you bought it and if it was organic or not), what you drank, how much you ate/drank, the weather w/temp, when you sleep, and what you "eliminate"!.

Do this for a month and see if your illness follows something specific!. It sounds tedious and it's hard to get into at first--but it's not that bad!. And it's a God-send when dealing with doctors!.

In the meantime, increase your water intake!. If you're already doing 8 glasses/day, drink more!. Your body may just need more!.

After you've kept your diary for 4-6 weeks, consider an elimination diet!. Here is a link to it:

Make sure you're keeping a diary at this point!. It's a relatively long process, but it will pinpoint exactly what you're reacting to!. To speed it up, start by re-introducing the top 8 allergens:

http://www!.eatingwithfoodallergies!.com/c!.!.!.

If you clear those, you have the major ones out of the way!. You said you're lactose intolerant, but the reality is that you may be allergic to the dairy PROTEIN--not the sugar!. Lactose is the sugar!. Casein is the protein and is found in many non-dairy products!. And if it's is casein, you could also be intolerant to soy (80-85% of people are intolerant/allergic to both)!.

Feingold diet explores intolerance to artificial flavors, colorings and salicylates (which are naturally occuring)!.

Finally, there are minerals that your body may be deficient in!. Are you taking a multi-vitamin!? If not, you might want to start!.

It sounds outrageous, but until it happens to someone you know (or yourself) it's hard to believe the serious effects that your food can have on you!. At minimum, keeping a diary like I described can only help--especially if they put you on meds, etc!. at some point!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Milk is in every thing it is almost impossible to completly cut out of your diet w/o life style changes!.

It sounds as if you could have another alergy to somthing perhabs wheat or gluttin, or a conidtion such as IBS!. If you don't think your doctor is getting it and helping you then goto another doctor and get a secound opionWww@Answer-Health@Com

The best way to get a handle on this is to start with a very comprehensive blood test that includes kidney and liver functions, a complete urinalysis, and an examination for intestinal parasites (such as girardia)!. If nothing is abnormal with those tests, then it would be good to follow up with a gastroenterologist and get whatever diagnostic tests are needed to get a thorough picture of the digestive system!.

If i had to guess, i would rank celiac disease, gallbladder disease, and some type of intestinal malabsorption as strong possibilities!. The next tier would be girardia, impaired liver or kidney function, or irritable bowel syndrome; and last, there is a list of dozens of other possible causes!. You sometimes need a lot of diagnostic tests to figure out what is going on with these types of symptoms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
