Question: Okay to drink alcohol if had MRSA!?
so i had an MRSA infection which i'm almost positive is all cleared up by now, the hole in my skin close up and the scab just fell off yesterday, the area where the hole WAS is purpleish but i think thats just the healing process, i am off antibiotics and i just continue to keep clean, is it safe for me to drink alcohol again!? tomorrow is my boyfriends birthday and i was going to buy him a bottle of jack, i'd like to drink it too!. haha!. what are y'all's opinions!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

No worries about any interaction between the alcohol and the antibiotics that still may be coursing thru your system!.
However, you shouldn't get too intoxicated!. Your body is still recuperating from the MRSA infection!. You should want your body to be clearing the dead bacteria, not trying to recuperate from a hangover after drinking too much Jack!.
