Constant thirst?!

Question: Constant thirst!?
I am a 21 year old female who has been diagnosed with endometriosis!. I am constantly thirsty (about 3/4 of a gallon of water a day!) and I go to the bathroom every 5-10 minutes!. I am also constantly fatigued!.

I had my blood sugar tested 3 years ago and it came up high, but still with in normal range; I have had countless blood tests since then and no one has mentioned anything else!. My grandmother and uncle are both borderline diabetic and both overweight (I am not, my BMI is <18) and my aunt had gestational diabetes with both of her pregnancies!.

Could this be diabetes or something else!? Any suggestions!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You need to talk to your doctor and schedule a fasting blood test!. I was borderline for about 4 years and all of a sudden crossed the border!. The thirst was my first signal and when I got tested I was definately diabetic!. So you may have crossed the border also!. And if not, the thirst and fatigue should be checked to see what is causing it!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am a diabetic!. I had every symptom that you do before I found out that I am a type 2 diabetic!.

Since diabetes runs in your family, you are at a higher risk of becoming a diabetic!.

It could be a reaction to some of your medications, but if you have been on the same medications for a long time, I would bet that it probably is diabetes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have your Ha1c taken which will tell you on average your blood sugars over a three month period of time!. Normal Ha1c is between 4-6!. It sounds like you have diabetes!. You can buy this kit at the drug store too!. Take your blood sugar and keep a record of the readings!. Try to eat foods that will maintain a steady level, not place you on a roller coaster, where your blood sugar goes high after drinking orange juice and then goes low!. Try eating a slice of whole wheat bread with a slice of turkey!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get tested again and again until you get an answer!. Diabetes is not something to play around with!. All of your symptoms point in that direction!. I am not a doctor and can't tell you for sure, but I am diabetic, and these are classic indicators of the disease!. Do remember to discuss any medications that you may be taking that could produce these symptoms or even mask them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Those are some of the symptoms of diabetes!. You must have your doctor do a fasting blood glucose level and also asses your kidney function!. A full physical is needed also!.
No sense in trying to guess what is wrong when a few medical tests can tell you for sure especially since you were a borderline diabetic before!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
