Does anyone else get moody and aggressive on chemo?!

Question: Does anyone else get moody and aggressive on chemo!?
During the first few days of chemo, I'm often really moody, depressed, upset, aggressive, etc!. And so I often snap at and argue with those around me!. I assumed that was normal and blamed it on the drugs, but another question I asked on here got me wondering, as some answers said I use chemo as an excuse for acting like that!.

Here is the question just in case:

As others have answered, I don't think it is necessarily the chemo that makes me moody/irritable, but the pre-meds (steroids, lots of benedryl etc) that causes me to be in nasty moods!. Cancer and it's remedies have so many emotional/physical effects on you, you are bound to feel more emotional than usual!. My poor husband takes the brunt of my pre/post chemo mood swings!. I try to be in control and kind like I am usually, but sometimes i just can't help ti and snap or say mean things!. People need to take what t\your going through into consideration!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be the antihistamines and other stuff they give you to counteract the toxins in the chemo drugs!. I was having throat swelling and itching/burning of my hands and feet so they upped the antihistimines and felt really antsy during some of my chemo treatments!. I know that antihistamines can do that!. I'm usually a rather mellow person!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think it was the chemo that made me moody!. I think it was the drugs they gave me to keep me from being sick!. I looked them up and two out of the three use to be used for mental health problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, I did and have known people that did the same!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
