Why my MCHC and MCH for my blood test is lower eventhough my RBC and Hb is norma!
Question: Why my MCHC and MCH for my blood test is lower eventhough my RBC and Hb is normal!?
few months ago, i tried to donate some blood,,however the nurse said that my blood is very bad!.!.(not enough Hb)!.!.and few days ago i had my blood check!.!.and the result came out!.!.everything normal except for my MCHC and MCH!.!.slightly lower and the doctor cannot came out with any diagnosis!. plus, i also have a cousin with thalassemia!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I saw the title of your question my first thought was "I wonder if you have any relatives with thalassaemia" - then I read the rest of the details! With these results and a family history you should definitely be tested!. It doesn't mean you have it, it's just one possibility of many, but thalassaemia can cause those results!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
