Question: PLEASE HELP! Is this an ear infection!?
I've been suffering from a very heavy cold for the past week!. I've had a bad sore throat which is finally getting better, a cough, runny nose and i went to the doctors yesterday and found out i had an eye infection which i am now treating!.
My left ear however, today i cannot hear out of it properly and there is a pain right in the middle!. I don't know whether this is caused by the amount of snot i have or its an ear infection!.

sounds like an ear infection to me, since there is pain!.
If it was only feeling stuffed up that would be due to your cold!.
But since you are feeling pain chances are its an ear infection, gotta head back to the doctor and treat that too :)

Many times when I've had the flu it's accompanied by ear pain and a clogged feeling!. This does not mean it's not an infection though!.
You should see a doctor!. If not, you can see if there is a local Healthline in your area!. In my province we have a health helpline you can call and speak with registered nurses to see what your issue could be and what you need to do about it!. You should look into whether or not you have one, they're a great, discrete resource for health questions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well it could be an infection but likely is just because you have a lot of fluid in it!.
They have found that antibiotics don't really help much for ear infections!.
Take decongestants to thin the fluid so it can drain!. You may want to try an allergy med as well because you may have underlying allegies which are exacerbating the problem!.
If it doesnt improve in a week or you start running a high fever go back to the dr!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It probably is an ear infection!. Usually when my kids get ear infections they also have runny noses and sore throats!. All of this stuff is linked together!. For some reason it takes a while for the doctors to figure out that it is an ear infection causing all the problems!. Another sign of ear infections is being off balance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
