Has any heard of the buddy system for Aids.?!

Question: Has any heard of the buddy system for Aids!.!?
A friend of mine goes to be buddys ( i think) with teens and young adults who have contracted aids, she is always so sad, i admire her so much!.
She did ask me to go alone with her, a few years ago now,and i didnt go, as i moved abroard!.
Anyway i had to go the local health dept, and saw a flyer for the same sort of thing, it had me thinking should i give it a try!?
I am a little scared as to what to say to people who are there, i would hate to make someone feel worse!.
I am a very happy go lucky person, most of the time and feel as i might be of some use, anyone out there done anything luke this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

And to answer your question as to "what to say to them", just be yourself and treat each and every one of them to their own individual needs!. Most people who have this disease do not want to wallow in self pity, they know it will shorten their lives and want to make the most of what they have left!. You should treat and talk to them as you would anyone else, with or without HIV/Aids!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i havent but i think it sounds like a brilliant idea
wether you have aids or not showing that you want to support and help me is a wonderful thing
