Question: 5 yr old son is vomiting can not hold down fluids or food any idea of how to help!?
I believe he has a stomach virus he did have a low grade temp but it has gone down, now just vomiting every hr!. He is only vomiting stomach fluids now, can't keep nothing down I don't want him to get dehydrated!. Pls help any ideas welcomed!. signs of getting better he is hungreyWww@Answer-Health@Com

He needs to be checked out by a doctor!. If he cannot keep down fluids, that means that he is getting dehydrated!. If you are not going to take him in!.!.!. you should at least get him some pedialyte (they make popsicles and lollipops as well as fluid)!. Try sips of gatorade or pedialite maybe like 4-5oz!. If he can keep it down withing 30Min!. Try a little more in the next 3o min!. Keep increasing the amount of fluids!. Then start trying some saltines!. If all else fails take him to the Dr!.
Also call your pharmacy to see if they carry any anti-nausea meds!. Some do now - for pregnant women!.
