it depends on the kind of virus or bactery that attacks u
for example coronavirus, tend to upper respiratory tract but influenza virus tend to lower respiratory!. few viruses cause common cold!. and thier syomptoms are some similar!.

I dont know I think I might rather have the flu, because at least you get some sleep, with a cough you and everyone else are up all night! That and you tend to get rid of the flu faster than a cough!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I'd go with the flu, because atleast I can sleep, coughing keeps me awake all damn night!. At least with the flu you feel some relief when you puke!. And you are so tired you pretty much just pass out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
