Question: 4 year old with snotty nose!. Why!?
Hello!. My domestic workers son is 4 years old and has permanently got a snotty nose!. I have a 3!.5 yr old nephew and 2!.5 yr old niece and they have snot sometimes, but theirs is clear at least!. His nose has always got that thick yellow snot (I'm sorry I'm being so disgusting) I'm just worried that there is something wrong with him!. It's been like this for at least a year, if not, longer!. Is this normal!? What could this be from!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

He could have chronic sinusitis, ie a sinus infection which never really goes away!.
Some kids have parts of their bodies which seem to be vulnerable to things, eg some kids get stomach bugs all of the time, some get tonsilitis all the time - this boy might just pick up every cold that goes around, especially if he spends a lot of time in daycare!.
Has his mother taken him to the doctor about this!? It might clear up from something as simple as a course of antibiotics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
