Scared to go to doctor for pelvic exam, may have STD?!

Question: Scared to go to doctor for pelvic exam, may have STD!?
I noticed a very small, painless bump on one of my vaginal lips, and I didn't really think anything of it so I just let it be!. Then, another one popped up about a month later!. I decided to take a hand mirror and have a look!. I noticed something much more worrisome than the bumps - fleshy growths at the entrance to my vagina, all the way around it!. They don't hurt at all, I haven't noticed them before and have no idea how long they have been there!. Now, on top of that, two of my original bumps have started to become sore and a little bit larger - I'm not sure if this is just because I have been poking around down there or what!. I'm only 18, and I've only had sex one time, over two years ago!. I'm really scared that this could be an STD, and I'm scared to go to my doctor about it!. She also sees my mother, and I don't want my mom to know anything about this until I'm sure exactly what I'm dealing with!. If I go to planned parenthood will the insurance get back to my mom!? Please help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

That sounds exactly like genital warts, but it could be something else (I'm not a doctor and I haven't actually seen what's going on)!. But I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's genital warts (which are caused by HPV, which 50-90% of the population has) because that's exactly what you're describing!. You could have gotten them from the one time you had sex two years ago, even if you used a condom!. They're transmitted by skin rubbing against skin and they're usually not covered by the condom!.

Take it to the doctor, they can fix it easily!. They'll take a look at it and tell you what's wrong, then either prescribe you a cream to put on yourself and get rid of it, or the doctor will remove them in the office!. It really isn't a big deal to get rid of!.

If your mom asks what she's paying for tell her it's a bacterial/yeast infection or something you needed treatment for!. The doctor is not allowed to tell your mom!. The insurance won't tell your mom what it was either!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to see a doctor!. You're 18, the doctor can't say anything at all to your mom!. And the bill won't go into great detail over what was done!. It'll just say something like exam and the cost!. It could be an STD so get checked out before it's too late!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tell you what- just stay away from the doctor!.!.!.!.

!.!.and live with the clap!. (that's the smart thing to do, don't
you think!?)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Could possibly be an STD but not enough info to determine!. About the insurance issue, if you are over 18, they are not allowed to disclose your info to anyone other than you!. When they contact you for the results, they will call with a blocked phone number and ask to speak with you only!. You can even instruct them with a code word or a secret sentence to notify you via telephone with!. If you have a cell, give them your cell phone number!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
