Question: How contagious is!?

There is bacterial & viral meningitis!.!.!.if it's bacterial, you can usually be covered by having contact with a dose of medication!.!.!.I had to do it when we had a 7 year old boy come in to our office with it!. I had started and IV on him and after we treated him he was hospitalized then we found out what it was!. I was covered by taking a couple of doses of antibiotics!. If it's viral, I don't remember that anything can be given!.!.!.BUT, being you are pregnant, I would be super careful and call your OB with ALL info that you know as of now!.!.!.!.good luck and take care!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Meningitis is SUPER contagious!. They make all college students that live on campus these days get the vaccination for it because if one person gets it, it tends to spread!. Fast!. If you haven't been vaccinated, definitly wash your hands plenty and for sure keep them out of your mouth!. If you have, you should be pretty okay!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
