The heart is a muscular organ which pumps blood into the aorta and pulmonary artery!. The right atrium receives deoxygenated blood and passes it to right ventricle, which pumps to the lungs through the pulmonary artery!. The oxygenated blood return from the lungs to the left atrium!. From the left atrium the blood reaches the left ventricle, which pumps it out into the aorta!. From the aorta, the blood reaches all the arteries in the body!. Arteries supply oxygenated blood to the whole body and deoxygenated blood returns through the vein to the heart!.
