Well i can't disagree with a doctor!.
Don't use warm water, use cold water, it cools the skin!.
I think you have Heat Rash!.!. Search that up and see if it fits your situation!.

Because you are 13 and its hot these days, you may be playing outside for long periods of time, which can lead to sweat leaking through the skin and causing small red bumps that you are talking about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Rashes can appear due to changes in soaps, aftershave, shower gels, shampoos, etc!. You say they itch, suggesting hives chicken pox, or poison oak or ivy!. Heat and itching can make any rash flare up terribly, and spread like crazy, all over!.!.!.even inside the mouth and hair, so keep hands clean and away from nose, eyes, mouth!.
For simple relief, use Caladryl lotion (which comes in a clear version), bottles of it are sold in supermarkets and pharmacies all over, not expensive!. Dab it over the rashes, allow to dry!. It will reduce the itching almost instantly and help heal the rash quickly!. Reapply 2 x a day or more for relief!. Use Benadryl tablets for Allergies, not the decongestant!.!.!.the allergy version!. It will help you feel much better and relieves theswelling, and itch!. Drink a lot of water in any case and be careful driving, Benadryl is excellent, but it can make you sleepy!. And remember, cool water or luke warm at best to wash, and use simple bar soaps like Ivory or even baby shampoos and bath soaps (very mild) until you heal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Does sound like an allergic reaction!. It could be anything!. I'm sure your doctor gave you a list of things to check like detergent, new soap or lotion, cleaning products, !.!.!. etc!.
