osteochondritis dissecans!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You say the joint is inflamed, so it could either be osteoarthritis, or osteochondritis!. Here is the breakdown for these terms:
oste- refers to bone
arthr- refers to a joint
-itis is a suffix meaning inflammation of
So!.!.!.oste/o/arthr/itis means inflammation of bone at it's joint (with another bone)
chondr- refers to cartilage
So!.!.!.oste/o/chondr/itis means inflammation of bone cartilage (found at joints between two bones)
Just to clear it up for one of the answers you received,
myel- refers either to the spinal cord or to bone marrow!.
oste/o/myel/itis means inflammation of bone and it's marrow
Inflammation occurs when tissue is injured or infected!. There is no suffix for infection, so sometimes a term ending in -itis refers to an infection!. This is the case with osteomyelitis, but not with the other two (not likely to be, anyway)!. Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi, I hope i didn't already answer!. My answer disappeared!. You can look at your bill and usually find the term!. If it isn't there call the office and ask for the name of your condition!. Then you can better know!.

Could be osteoarthritis, actually helped by warm water exercise and supplements!. Not by total rest!.

Or osteomyelitis, which I believe is a bone infection!.

Maybe you only want the name if you want other suggestiongs, why don't you just ask and then write another question!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
