Why do Hands get Pruny when you take a Bath or a Shower??!

Question: Why do Hands get Pruny when you take a Bath or a Shower!?!?
I notice from time to time that my hands get pruny during a shower or bath, I was wondering why, because no one's really explained it too me!. I think it has something to do with your cells in your skin, but other than that I'm stumped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I believe it is similar to the way hot weather causes you to sweat and lose more water by evaporation!.

The heat of the water causes cells to open up which means there is less of a barrier between the water content in your epithelial (skin) cells and the water in the shower or bath!.

As you are exposed to it for a while, the cells become so dehydrated they shrink which causes the 'wrinkles' as the skin buckles!. You may not feel exactly dehyrated because it is only the skin cells, but if you drink more water they will usually go away faster!.

I now feel like a hot bath!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

well what happens is that osmosis takes place in ur hands!.!.
that is water travels from higher concentration to lower concentration!.!.
the cells dont need that much of water which enters the cells during osmosis n becoz of this some water will be tried to be thrown out and as a result of this the skin becomes loose because of all these!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.and so the hands get pruny!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
