Toothpaste usually makes a pimple worse!. It causes irratation most of the time!. The day before my school dance i packed on a bunch of toothpaste before bed because I wanted to look great the next day!. I woke up in the mid of the night and my face was stinging, so I thought the toothpaste was doing the job and left it on for another couple hours before school!. When I got out of the shower, my skin was red and pealing!. It took about a week to fully heal!. Don't risk it!!!!!
Buy facial wipes (Biore is a great brand) and wipe your face throughout the day to get rid of excess oil!. Morning and night use a face wash specified for acne/blemishes (Clean & Clear works wonders)!.
I also used tons of different medications prescribed by my dermatoligst and nothing ever worked!. Oneday I just gave up and started going with water, face wash and some wipes (all supermarket stuff) and ta-da, my face is 90% clear!.

good luck :-) No toothpaste!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

most toothpastes contain a menthol ingredient that gives us that familiar minty sensation of clean teeth!. Unfortunately, menthol is an ingredient that often irritates skin and causes itching and inflammation!. In fact, try to avoid any skin product that lists menthol as an ingredient, especially if you have sensitive skin!. A tingling sensation may seem to signal deep cleansing, but menthol does not help increase the effectiveness of skin care products!.

You may be asking, however, if acne-specific spot treatments also irritate the skin, why is toothpaste any worse!? The simple answer is that acne spot treatments include ingredients designed to combat the bacteria responsible for acne!.

For example, salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide are both common anti-acne ingredients, and both cause some drying of the skin!. But salicylic acid has been shown to promote cell turnover, meaning that skin gets exfoliated and fresh skin cells come to the surface!. Benzoyl peroxide fights acne bacteria specifically and also does not cause bacterial resistance!.

In the case of these acne-fighting ingredients, drying out the skin is not the main goal but a side effect!. Dry skin does not necessarily lead to clear skin, since some people experience flaky skin alongside acne flare-ups!. Applying toothpaste to your skin may seem to work at first glance because it causes immediate dryness, but it can also cause irritation without the benefit of proper anti-acne medication!.

The bottom line: Why bother applying toothpaste when a tube of anti-acne spot treatment is more effective!? In this case, the gain is simply not worth the pain!.

The bad thing about Ance Meds is u might have to try a few before finding one that works!.!.!.try proactive if u can it worked for me!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

neutrogena is a waste of money!. Toothpaste works BUT only if you leave it on for a few hours which is anoying!. The better solution: apply HONEY on the pimples, leave it for 20-30 min and rince!.!. then apply "tea ree oil" on the pimple!. This remedy will dry up the pimply within a day!.
For treating acne in general - its very usufull to apply clay mask on a face twice a week!. does wonders!. good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, you can try toothpaste!. Just putting a little bit on the pimple area and allowing it to dry when you sleep opens up the pores and expoliates the skin!.!.!.it also gets rid of that bad oil that makes pimples in the first place!.!.!.it might not go away, but it should look betterWww@Answer-Health@Com

All that is supposed to do is draw them up and dry them out!. You would get the same results with a paste of baking soda and water letting it dry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
