Eczema is an allergic skin disease and like other allergic diseases, it is caused by allergens ( things which trigger allergic reactions) and not by bacteria or micro-organisms!. Hence, there is no definite cure for it in allopathy except suppressing it for some time with anti-allergic drugs which have other side effects too!. Avoid scratching as it leads to secondary infection!.
It is better to identify by close observation what things aggravate the problem and avoid contact with or intake of such things!. These allergic things may be starch (generally flour), soap, cosmetic products, dairy products, plants, dust, synthetic fabrics, some chemicals etc!.

Ok so I know that this sounds like a commercial, but hear me out!. I have a four yearold daughter that has been on steriods and special lotions since she was 3 months old!. Two weeks ago I started using Arbonne diaper cream for the really bad spots and the baby lotion all over her skin!. I do this twice a day everyday!. It sounds wierd, but a very common cause of eczema is dairy!. If you drastically cut the dairy in your diet, you will notice in about a week it's getting much better! Hydrocortisone Ointment 1% works really good for the dryness in the mean time!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Go to the doctor and they will supply some cream to make it go away!.!.!.go quick though some people mistake fungus for eczema!Www@Answer-Health@Com
