The person in question probably has a white cell problem!. Go for it!. What goes around comes around!. I can't stand women in their fifties but there you go!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your mom took the time to do the whole bone marrow thing then, I am sure she wants to help anyone she can!.
I am a little disturbed that you stated "should she waist her time"
Are you saying it might be a waste of time because the women needing it is in her 50's!?
Look at it this way, there might come a time when your mom, even yourself, need someones help to stay a live, or should people just let you die because it's a waste of time, they are to busy to help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have you thought about how wonderful your mom would feel knowing that something she did saved another persons life!?!? I think it would be a great honor to help save someone!. I'm on the bone marrow list too and I would be overjoyed if I could help someone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

def if she could die she reallly should and u should be encuraging her i hope everything goes ok, good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Okay, if this is something that your Mom offered to do to help those in need, and she was a match, she should totally do it!
This is, obviously, something that she wanted to do, she has been called, she should do it!. It's not a waste of time, she is helping another person to live!!!
Your Mom made a clear decision to donate her bone marrow to whomever may need it, at whatever time!. These people who suffer from this disease don't have time to wait, it's life or death!. Your Mom may hold the life of another in her hands!.
There is NO company in the world that would fire her for taking time off to donate her bone marrow to save the life of another human being!!!
How could you even ask if this was a WASTE of time!?!?!?
How could you even question her motives if all she wanted to do was save a life!?!?!?!?
If I could do it, I would do it WITHOUT QUESTION!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

She signed up for the registry, so I would assume she is willing to do it!. Its not that difficult of a process, and will merely cause a few weeks of inconvience!. She will have a few doc apts where she has some physicals and blood work!. She will have to take special shots for a few days to a week before hand!. There are 2 different donor procedures, but both are fairly easy!.

Its honestly not that huge of a deal to donate!. And she could potentially be saving someone's life!. Stem cell transplants are used to treat leukemias lymphomas, myleomas, several non cancerous blood/marrow diseases!. It can be used to treat several different auto immune diseases!. And is even being used in conjuntion with other organ transplants to give patients a chance to come off the anti rejection meds!.

Donating is NOT a waste of time!. It is a special gift of life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your mom went to the trouble to go to a bone marrow registry then she is very special indeed! It's clear she wants to help save a life!. Leukemia is now one of the cancers that can be cured with a bone marrow transplant from a donor like your mom!. By donating a bit of her bone marrow, your mom will be uncomfortable for a few days from the withdrawal site (probably around her hip), but other than that she should be just fine!. For the person who gets that bone marrow though, it will literally save their life!. Imagine!.!.!. your mom could save the life of another mom with children or grandchildren!.!.!. it's something she obviously wants to do!. She's gone this far for a reason!.!.!. please support her and let her continue on this amazing and generous journey!. You would want someone to do the same for you or her wouldn't you!? We are all special people!. Saving the life of someone, even a stranger, can never be a waste of time!. When your mom dies, no-one will remember how many hours she worked or her commuting time!. But, they will remember if she saved a life and you will all be honoured by that!. Your mom is special - support her in this!.!.!. it's clearly what she wants and what she feels is important!. She will love you more for respecting that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
