Question: Can someone explain why my dad's eyes open wide right before his last breath!?
He passed away a couple of days and that vision can not get out of my head!. It is as if he wanted to look around at everybody for one last goodbye!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

HI David, my friend Kat's did too!. I actually wondered about it cause she was in a coma!. The doctor told me that death sometimes is a release, a blessing if someone is really sick, and the last breath is the relaxing of the muscles, and in ancient times it was believed that when the muscles relaxed and the soul was released, the vision in the eyes is watching the soul release and see loved ones for the final time on earth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have a theory about this!.
Ever choke!? Your eyes open wider right!?
Since the body is failing and there is one last breath that is released, I believe it is that choking reaction, and so the eyes widen as normal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
