Answers:
Body odor is a combination of sweat and bacteria!. Sweat is actually odorless; it is bacteria that live off perspiration on our body that create the bad smell!.

Humans generate apocrine and eccrine sweat!. Eccrine sweat is used to lower our temperature, like when we exercise or when it's really hot!. It is produced uniformly all over the body and does not smell!.

Apocrine is a special type of exudation that is produced in places like the armpits, groin, hands, and feet!. It is the latter that causes all the trouble, but like eccrine sweat, it also doesn't smell!. Apocrine perspiration simply contains fat and protein!.

So how does apocrine sweat tend to make us stinky!?

Some bacteria on our body feed off apocrine sweat!. Once they consume the sweat, they do what any living creature on earth does: they defecate Yup, you guessed it; B!.O!. is the smell of bacteria excrement!

Actually, bacteria don't really defecate like we do -- they break down chemical bonds -- but they do consume our perspiration, and that makes us smell!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

BO is caused by stinkin' bacteria that feeds on the sweat!. That's why you can sweat, but not smell for a while!.

Airing yourself out/drying yourself is a good way to keep the odor down, as it keeps food from the bacteria!.

Keeping yourself clean also helps minimize the initial bacteria quantity!.

Food like garlic and a few others will make you sweat stink differently than typical BO!. Regular BO will attract insects like mosquitos, while garlic-laced sweat will keep most living things (including friends) away!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

actually, when you sweat the fluid leaving you'r body doesn't hav a bad odour!. it's the bacteria that reacts with it that causes the smell!. the body is an excellent place for bacteria so the longer you leave it the worse it smells!.
and apparently what you eat can affect the fluid you secret, but that would be if you ate the same thing entirely for a week, like garlic or something, but if you tried you'd probs die!.
:)
but for a normal person with a normal diet, no!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, BO comes from your body (as you said) when you sweat!. What causes sweating is your body maintaining homeostasis!. When it does this, it releases bacteria which is why it smells bad after awhile!. That's why also when you excersise, you sweat and which helps you get skinnier cause you're really releasing these bacterias and other wastes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well it happens when you eat certain foods that when it mixes with water it gets released through sweat glands!.But the problem is,its not suppose to come out that way!.Its the same with pimples,dirt!.sweat,dust,ect!.gets stuck and blocks your pores which cause pimples!.if you have any more questions just ask!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it indeed has a bit to do with what you eat!. however!. alot is hygenic and how well you keep up with your body!. BO is usually preventable and or treatable by just keeping up with and practicing good hygeine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Primarily, b!.o!. comes from perspiration!. Quite a bit also comes from your sebaceous glands!. These secrete a fluid that is really 'stinky'!. The sweat glands secrete water, salt, and some body waste products!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

when you sweat it comes in contact with bacteria which is what makes you smell bad!. if you drink alot of alcohol or eat alot of foods that are high in fat, that contributes as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Apocrine glands in your armpits!.!.!.and endocrine glands all over the body!. YEs, what you eat DOES affect the smell, if you eat lots of garlic, your sweat will smell like it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
