How to eleminate bad thoughts caused by OCD?!


Question: How to eleminate bad thoughts caused by OCD!?
As I suffer from OCD and anxiety , and have been on medication for 1 year and half, I can feel some improvement but I still suffer from recurrent negative thoughts, which is basically correspond to my wife's past (she was engaged to a muscular guy that she admirED),I can't get over it and make me hate her and not treat her nicely, the way I treat her makes me feel even worse,any solution other than pillsWww@Answer-Health@Com

The simple answer is to just move on and get over it!. If she's with you then obviously you are who she wants!. Most women aren't into looks in comparison with love!. Women want someone to love them unconditionally and it doesn't matter what a guy looks like as long as he takes care of her and loves her!. If you're treating her like that then she's more apt to leave you over your bad behavior rather than your looks!. As far as the negative thoughts it's a mind over matter thing!. Just tell yourself it's not important!. Find something else to do and do not dwell on any negative thoughts!. Treat your wife good and she'll love you no matter what like she already does or she wouldn't be with you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

exercise will help you to think more positively and, at the same time, allow you to build up muscles!. Muscles aren't the answer, but if this is causing you to feel inferior then perhaps this would help you!.
diet is also important: caffine and alot of fat/sugar can disturb sleep patterns which leads to stress!. If you aren't already eating a healthy diet, i would say to you that you should!.
Forget about the past and move on!. actions in the present to try and change what you may have lost in the past may not work; but actions you take now in the present will help to change those in the future for the betterWww@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think that has anything to do with your OCD!.

That sounds more like an anxiety problem!. You should look for a cognative therapist, they generally do not treat with medication, making them ideal for helping you learn how to work through things instead of relying on pills!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Be thankful that you are only getting repetitive mental images!. Realize you are secretly allowing yourself to obsess over something that is holding you down!. Keep yourself busy and gain new interests!. When you think of this man try to associate him with being out of the picture!. Think of your wife being swept up by you!.
