Question: Medical Professionals - Can I have your insight!?
There is a man with a history of heart problems (two previous mild heart attacks)!. He goes to bed in a room with the window open because it makes him feel more comfortable (perhaps because it helps him breath better)!. During the middle of the night the window is closed by another person!. The man then has a heart attack, the same night!.
Do you think the person who closed that window is the direct cause of the heart attack!? Or would have it happened anyway with the window closed or open!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

This question has two points!. The first is whether the closing of the window caused the breathing of the man, who had two previous heart attacks, to suffer a heart attack!. I personally doubt that the closing of the window reduced the content of the air to the degree that he failed to obtain sufficient air quality to have caused him to suffer another heart attack!. Secondly, is it possible to establish if, upon waking, he discovered the window to be shut, which caused him sufficient stress and which brought about a heart attack!.
I feel that it is highly likely that he would have suffered a heart attack in any case, regardless of whether the window had been open or closed!.
There is a third point, that is the point of law!. But, not being a lawyer, I will not go into that!. It is easy to apportion blame, but proving it is difficult!.
