Question: How can I get rid of an ear infection!?
This is the third time that I've gotten an ear infection from a cold!. It's been about 2 weeks since I got the cold and I still can't hear too well in my right ear and it has this faint ringing in it!. What can I do to get rid of it NOW!? Please help, thank you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I hate to break it to the idiots who told you to get ear drops!. They will do nothing for your problem, as what you have is an ainfection of the middle ear, which lies BEHIND the eardrum and drops do not reach it!.
Ringing in the ear is probably due to pressure on your inner ear from the buildup of fluid pressing against the stapes and its connection to the round window!.
The only way you'll get rid of the infection is to see a doctor for antibiotics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sadly, you can't make it go away right away!.
I've been taking medication for 10 days now!.
Tomorrow will be my last day!.
The doctor prescribed:
Amoxicillin (pills) - 3 times a day for 10 days
Neo-Polymyxin (ear drops) - 3 times a day for 10 days
But everyone is different, so you may need different types of medication!.
I think you should visit the doctor and have them prescribe medication, and ask if there are any ways to prevent you form getting ear infections when you get a cold!.

i had one like two months ago from a throat infection!.!.!.it hurt like a mother******!!!! but yah my mom took me to the ER cuz i couldn't stop crying out in pain and the doctor gave me a prescription for antibiotics and told me to take motrin or something for the pain!.!.!.it didn't help at all (the motrin) but yah all you could do is bear the pain and temporary deafness, i was discharging some puss-like fluid from my ears for a whole week to this day i still feel some discharge its groooosss!! but yeah my regular hearing didn't come back until like 3 weeks ago!.!.!.the doctor said there was nothing else i could do to get rid of it

If your hearing is diminishing and you're constantly hearing a ringing then this is becoming a serious problem!. I'm sure that it is not very comfortable, and you need to get some proper medicine prescribed by your doctor or a treatment procedure before it worsens!.

hello well first the only thing u can do is that avoid touching ur ear to prevent the infection, an in ur case its should be necesary that this would treated properly whether you or by ur physician, treat this well now on ur physician before theres something happen, always consult your doctor about the prescription, take care, always remember health is wealth, ones if it is destroyed i could hardly to turn back again thnk youWww@Answer-Health@Com

Those are hard for the stomach, try to take with food!.
Take all antibiotics prescribed, dont stop in middle, it will get resistant, if bacterial infection!.

If not, then go to the drugstore and get something called Sweet Oil!. Use a cotton swab or an eye dropper to put some in your ear!.

if you havent been to a doctors yet then go to one and make sure to tell him/her about the ear infection and how many times you have goten it!. if you dont have time or your appointment is in a few days then get some ear drops to disinfect it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds as though you have wax build up - not an infection!. Ear infections are extremely painful and you'd need antibiotic drops!.But if it's just wax build up, try putting drops of warm olive oil into your ears!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
get ear drops, sleep it off, have hot showers as the heat will sooth the pain and take plenty of nurofen!. it shud go soon if you follow this advice (coz i get them loads too)Www@Answer-Health@Com
