Question: Anal Abscess left untreated!?
I'm pretty sure that i have anal abscess, and i know that i should go seek meical advice, but i'm very self concious bout people there!. and i was wondering what would happen if i left it untreated!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If left untreated it can become so inflamed that the infection will spread out and over your body and then u will be hospitalized while they lance and pack the abscess and give u about 48 hours of IV fluids and antibiotics!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You definitely want to go and get that treated!.
Better to blush than to die!. And it can become infected and kill you!. Not to mention the longer you wait, the bigger the pocket left by it and the harder it is to get it to close permanently!. You wait too long and you could end up having to show your butt to the doc for life in hopes that he can finally heal it after years of draining!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
