If it is rhinitis that you have then you'll live!. My whole family, mom and brothers have it and it sucks!. Not really much you can do about it except take the meds the doctor prescribed!. It is important to note that the meds you have been prescribed take about a month or two to work so don't give up hope yet!. Also it is possible to have allergies of the sinus that no allergy tests can detect!. Sinus allergies are completely different and come and go as they please!. You may find a sinus rinse helpful and as I mentioned even though the skin allergy testing turned up negative you may also want to consider taking an allergy med anyway!.!.!. just to see if it helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I actually used to experience the same issues as you for over 20 years!.!.!.and finally since the beginning of this year I can be as normal as my friends!

What did I do!? I went to see a ear, nose and throat doctor!. There were a few solutions that they gave to me however, I chose to get the sinus surgery!. It was a pretty easy going surgery!.!.!.!.and I was back to almost normal within 3 days!. If you are against the surgery, you can opt for shots that last up to 6 weeks at a time!.!.!.but I found that those are not convenient!.!.!.at least not for me!.

The best thing to do is to visit a doctor so that he can order a CAT scan for you so that he can better diagnose your condition properly!.

There is hope!.!.!.!.trust me!.!.!.!.I've dealt with my condition since the age of 3!!! The doctors back then told my parents that I would grow out of it at 18!.!.!.!.NOT!!!!

Good luck!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Albuterol will cause wheezing

you should know that albuterol inhalation sometimes causes wheezing and difficulty breathing immediately after it is inhaled!. If this happens, call your doctor right away!. Do not use albuterol inhalation again unless your doctor tells you that you should!. http://www!.nlm!.nih!.gov/medlineplus/drugi!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to go see an Ear Nose and Throat doctor!. Obviously the inhaler isn't working and you need to be put on something else (possibly steroids- not the bad kind)!. It sounds like chronic bronchitis to me, but only your doctor can be sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

he's most likely right but if you have concerns you should always get a second opinion!.

Remember : Doctors are people too and they like any of us could make a mistake

Seek a second opinion and put your mind at easeWww@Answer-Health@Com

Hey BrownEye!.!.!.

Rhinitis is just a fnacy term for runny nose!. My mom is a nurse and I've always been told that "rhinitis" is a typical 'cold/runny nose' diagnosis!.

The definition of rhinitis is irritation and inflammation of the internal areas of the nose!. This can be caused by a common cold as well as allergies!. Since you were tested for allergies and you had a negative result, I would not worry about chronic bronchitis or COPD!. COPD is a lung DISEASE which is easily diagnosed through more testing that what your doctor felt you needed!. There are many other symptoms that go along with COPD that, if given as examples to your doctor, he or she would have done furhter testing to rule out anything more serious than what you have!.

The nasal spray is just to keep the inside of your nose moist!. If it dries up, it causes more irritation and inflammation (swelling) of the inner layers of your nose and sinuses!. The Albuterol just relaxes the muscles in the airways to increase the airflow to your lungs!. (The wheezing is caused by the inflammation of the air passageway!.) This should settle once once your body recognizes the strength of the Albuterol!.

If you're not feeling better after a week or two, as your doctor probably explained, I would suggest calling him or her to let them know!. It may be that you need antibiotics if it happens to be an infection!. (i!.e!. sinus infection)

Good luck and feel better soon!Www@Answer-Health@Com
