Answer ONLY if you have solid and sound information please! I'm getting mixed answers on this: Can years of heavy cocaine use starting at the High School level into your 40's along with other drugs in between, including alcohol, lead to PERMANENT brain damage and mental illness!.!.!.even though the user claims to have "stopped" using for a few years now!? Is relapse possible!? Or is this just a bunch of bull!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, cocaine does cause permanent brain damage!. So does tobacco and alcohol!

Relapse is possible and usually does occur in anyone who abused drugs!.

I'm not sure that cocaine causes mental illness, but if you'd do a search on the long term effects of that drug, you'll find it does permanently alter your brain, and there is nothing that can repair the damage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes it can!. it can also decrease bone narrow in the nose area and cause lots of damage!. including brain damage!. think about it if weed that is often used as medicine causes brain damage and alcohol that is legal causes brain damage why would cocaine not cause brain damage!. and relapse is very very possible if that person has no motivation and is around others who use it!. so it is not bull or a myth it is the sad truth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
