Dog allergy question?!
Question: Dog allergy question!?
I've had dogs growing up!. I haven't had a dog for the last 5 years!. Somehow all of the sudden, I noticed that everytime a dog lick me in my arms and my face!. i start to get hives but it goes away in 30 minutes and it is really itchy!. How to I prevent this from happening!? I love dogs!. Im even thinking of getting one next year once I purchase a house with a big backyard!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same thing as you, I had it with both cats and dogs!. For me, I volunteered with dogs and got more and more immune to dog licks and cat hair!. For my father he has a minor allergy to spices and the doctor told him to just keep eating a little at a time to make it subside!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I'm allergic to dogs, too!. I had them my whole life, but my allergies have worsened as time has gone by!. When I end up with hives I wash the effected area with cool water, take benadryl, and they go down!.
You might want to go to an allergist and get tested, and if you are positive for dog allergy you might want to see about starting allergy shots!. Since starting mine I've been able to play with dogs without getting hives and being itchy!. It's a long, slow process but well worth it if it you really want to have pets you are allergic to!.

Go to an allergist and they will test you to see if you are allergic to dogs or any other pets!.
There is no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog either!. All dogs cause allergies!. All dogs have skin, urine and saliva and that is what causes allergies in most people!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
