I got stretch marks on the sides of my stomach 7 months ago right before I had my first child!. My stomach is flat like it used to be but they are really dark and hideous!. I have been using cocoa butter for stretch marks to at least lighten them up!. Nothing has changed!. Im devastated because I can't wear want I want anymore and I don't feel comfortable changing in front of my man anymore!. This is over the counter creams you can buy that are by the pharmacy that can help lighten them up!.!.!.but your best bet is to actually go to the dermatologist first for some of the prescription strength creams and if that does not help you can do some minor surgeries that can make a big difference if it is that affective on you!. Mederma is said to help some with scarring which includes stretch marks, but the long and the short of it the stretch marks are probably going to remain!. The only thing I know regarding surgery is skin grafting which I don't know is a doctor would do that for stretch marks, besides I've heard it can be painful and expensive to do skin grafting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
