Question: "Chicken Skin" on my Arms! :S:(!?
On the top half of my arms (above my elbow) theres a bunch of little bumpss!. People I know call them Chicken Skin!.!.
Its not REALLY bad, but its bad enough to make me feel self consicious!. Wow i cant spell:P
anyyways, i was wondering if anyone kneeww how to get rid of itt!.

I have the same problem-- SO ANNOYING!.
The condition is known as keratosis pilarsis, and arises when your skin produces too much keratin (a protein) and it plugs up your hair follicles!.
I spent a lot of time trying to fix this problem in high school- I tried different creams and exfoliators!. But I finally found something that works!. A cleanser for oily skin by NeoStrata!. It's called Oily Skin Solution, 8AHA!. It's not the cheapest, but it totally works!. The key is, it's got glycolic acid in it!. So look for a cleanser that contains that!.
Use it once a day for a week, then twice a day after that!. In about two to three weeks you'll notice the bumps clear up quite a bit!. It's not 100% gone, but it's really made a difference!.
I also heard from my esthetician that eating too much sugar (even breads and pastas) can make your skin more likely to produce extra keratin!. Just one more reason to eat healthy, I guess!

Pray and tell Father God in the name of His son Jesus Christ to take away all those bumps, out of you, and that you want to be healed!. Just try, you have nothing to loose by trying and believe it!.
