Does she have celiac disease or not?!

Question: Does she have celiac disease or not!?
My daughter was tested for Celiac disease recently!.
The first test came back as "results may support a diagnosis of celiac disease, but are not specific!."
So They tested again and it came back negative!.
My daughter STILL is having major stomach problems which she has had since about age 2 or younger and gets nauseated and remains on miralax treatments and they give her no explanation other than maybe she is lactose intolerent!.

What do i do!? There is OBVIOUSLY something wrong here!

I myself have a major allergy to gluten!.

I am tired as is she of being in pain!. She seems to even have mood swings associated with this issue!.

I too have mood swings associated with my allergy!.

Where can i go to get down to this problem and do you think a 3rd test should be given!?

Is it possible that this disease is that hard to diagnose or is there something else we should be looking at!?

Please help!. =[Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are allergic to gluten then there is a very strong possibility that your daughter is either allergic or intolerant to it also!. I included an article on diagnosing children with CD and how hard it is and that doctor actually recommends just starting a gluten free diet and letting the child sort it out later in life!. That sounds like a plan for you since it seems she has so much trouble with gluten!.
I also put a web site in that does genetic testing which both of you could do!.
Good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If the testing is inconclusive, it is possible that your daughter is gluten intolerant, not coeliac!.

I would suggest an elimination diet instead of waiting for more tests!. If your daughter's mood and health improves with no gluten in her diet, just keep her off it!. If gluten isn't the problem, ask your doctor what else it could be and ask if it would be helpful to do a complete elimination diet of all possible allergens to find out what she is allergic/intollerant toWww@Answer-Health@Com

No one can force you to feed your daughter gluten, soy or milk products!. I would follow Sailor's advice, please!
Please go here and post this again!. There are many people that are very willing to help!

Hmm Celiac disease is very similar to crohn's which I have!.!. I was tested with Celiac disease once!.!. But I ended up having Crohn's!.!. She might need a GI tract done or A colonoscopy!. Most Crohn's patients are lactose intolerant including me!. I'd talk to her doctor about Crohn's or other Inflammatory Bowel DiseasesWww@Answer-Health@Com

Why don't you just put her on a gluten free, dairy free diet for a couple of weeks and see if there's any improvement!. If you've got a gluten allergy, than she probably does, too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Malabsorption is a difficult diagnosis!. I don't know your daughter's age!. Why miralax, if it's malabsorption where diarrhea is the issue!.
Anyway just wait for the third test so you can be sure it's not Celiac!.
If she has diarrhea, could be protein allergy, try to give soy protein, also eliminate lactose from her diet and see if there is improvement!.
I don't know her age if she is like 10 or 12 or more I would also try to exclude Irritable Bowel Syndrome!. It will cause abdominal discomfort with alternating diarrhea and constipation, also mood swings!.
Otherwise could be just pschycological problem and will go away!.
That's all I know, sorry and I don't think she has some serious disease, since it would have been diagnosed by now and you would have seen her malnourished!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

DR'S suck! I was so sick bloated, severe headaches nauseated all the time!.fatigue and diarrhea after eating even a cracker!. I told my Dr when she says we have to send you to Mayo clinic!.!.I said take an allergy test cause maybe its mold!.!.It came back wheat!. I stayed off all wheat which you know means READ ALL LABELS!!! Meds, gum, candy NO fast food at all!!! NONE
I went to a gastro Dr we did alllll tests Endo/Colon, swallowed a camera and he said all is ok!.!.!@#$%^&*()_ bull!. He said no you are not Celiac!.!. Wellmy older sister has had it for 39 yrs but no symptoms like I had!.
It sucks at 54 fginding this out and having to re learn how to eat but losuing 45 lbs was great!.

Pamelas gluten free has great cookie and cake mixes and breads!. I make my own rice pizza dough out of the bread mix and make my own bread!.
It is a very hard disease to diagnosis!.One Dr said yes and one said no!. I ate some BEANO before my broccolli and It had wheat!.
I was in the hospital within 12 hrs!.!.

All I can say is keep her off wheat for 3 days only and by the end of the 2nd day she should be great!.
Easier said than done but I bet she will feel better!. Only 3 days off wheat to be able to tell!.

You know it is hard being one of us!.!.!.but she is young and will be healthier for it in the long run!.
I am now one of those people that say!.!.hhmmm did I eat today!?!?
I just cannot get excited about food anymore!.
