Thyroid Problem?!

Question: Thyroid Problem!?
I was wondering if anyone could tell me the symptoms of having a thyroid deficiantcy!. I've always had dry hair, brittle nails, and very dry skin, and I have an abnormally hard time losing weight (even though I eat like a rabbit and work out every other day)!. It is hereditary, my mom, grandma, great grandma, etc!. But the problem is that I have to get my blood drawn, and I HATE NEEDLES and blood!. I can't stand the thought!. I did get tested for it a couple years ago, and I was fine!. I don't want to put myself through torture again for nothing!. Any opinions!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I remember the first several times I had to have blood drawn from my arm, I was terrified! I just didn't look at the needle or the blood being drawn!. I have had so many blood tests since then (in the past 35+ years) that it doesn't bother me anymore!. I am even able to watch them stick the needle in the vein and watch the tube(s) fill up! I find that they use smaller and better needles now, and sometimes I don't even feel the prick of the needle! It does sound like you have a good probability of having hypothyroidism, so it would be worth having the blood drawn!. Just turn your head and don't look while it is being done and it will be over with in just a few seconds! Try to think of something pleasant while your blood is being drawn, and reward yourself afterwards! I know you can get through the simple blood test!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You already put yourself through "torture" thinking through about thyroid deficiency, while your described symptoms might be another deficiency like dehydration or candidiasis, for example!.Have you cold hands and legs!? Or another characteristic symptom like fatigue without reason!. Or you can't tolerate cold!? How you walk up on the street!? If slowly then maybe you have a form of hypothyroidism!.
Well, say it were true and you have any form of hypothyroidism!. You tested it a couple years ago and you was fine!. It means, you haven't a deficiency from birth!.!. That is in itself a good plus point!. In the case you was born with an under active thyroid you need to take the relevant pill all your life!. In your case , there are ways to treat thyroid health problems naturally!. The foods you eat play a crucial role in keeping your body healthy Supplementing your food with vitamin A could help prevent hypothyroidism because it enables the gland to absorb sufficient amount of iodine!. Eat foods that contain iodine like fish, bananas, parsley!. Physical exercises help stimulate thyroid gland secretion!.
I hope these suggestions will help you a bit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
