Answers:
It probably won't be exactly the same for you, but this is what I usually do:

The times I've gone for a brain MRI, I've had to take off my clothes and wear a hospital gown!. I get my own little changing room that has a pamphlet with instructions (such as taking off your jewellery etc!.)!.

Once I'm changed, the nurse takes me to the MRI room!. They lower the bench for me to lie down, fixate the head holder and make sure I'm comfortable!. The machine is noisy, so I get a pair of head-phones and can pick my perferred music channel (not that I can hear a lot over the noise of the machine)!.

After the first scan, which takes about 30 minutes, the nurse comes in an puts a needle in my arm to inject contrast liquid into my veins!. It's not painful, but it can feel a bit cold!. Then they take the second scan!.

The whole thing takes a little over an hour!. For me the most difficult part is not to move, and not to fall asleep, because if I do, I might move!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

lol!. no, you just can't have any metal on you, and if you have metal in your body you need to let the tech know!. They will probably have you change into a gown though, leave the underwear on so long as there is no metal!. The MRI is a giant magnet!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
