Question: Large lump under the skin on my thigh, has grown over the last few years!?
I have a large lump, and I mean large, on the inside of my thigh!. It started out as what seemed like a black head, or zit!.!.!.That turned into a little hard lump under my skin!. I could roll it between my fingers and it was extremely hard!. It never hurt or drained!.
In the last 4 years it has grown to be nearly as big as a ping pong ball!. It is still hard, but not rock hard!. It is mostly under my skin and partially over it!. It is not free floating!. It is definitely attached!. And this is really weird!. It's PURPLE!
I am making an appointment at Milton Hershey Medical Center Plastic Surgery tomorrow!. Can anyone tell me what this thing is!? I would appreciate it greatly!.!.!.and it's not like nasty, so I hope I didn't paint you a disgusting mental picture!. You did click on my question though, so what can I say :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

My friend had a harmless node of fatty tissue removed from under the skin on her arm!. The dr!. said it was her choice between a scar or the lump because it was not going to harm her!. She picked scar!.
