Question: I think I have had an allergic reaction to a new soap, is it worth seeing the doctor over this!?

Swollen skin around the eye--I call it "muppet eye"--could be just a clogged tear duct!. This is the one time rubbing your eyes might actually help--it could unstop the duct!. Your tear duct is inside your bottom eyelid, about a third of an inch from the inside corner of your eye!. If you gently pull on your eyelash there, you can see the opening of the tear duct, but you won't be able to tell if it's clogged!. Putting a hot, wet washcloth on the eye would also help!.
Once in a foreign country, with both my eyes swollen, a doctor prescribed me some eyedrops, and had me leave my contacts out for a few days!. I was embarrassed to go to work!. When I finally did, they said, "You look awful!" It cleared up after about a day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i wouldnt go see the doctor right away if ti is an allergic reaction to the soap stop using the soap and it should go away but if you still have the swollen eye after about a day i would see the doctor cause it may not be the soap or the you were highly allergic to whhatever it was in the soap and that needs to be teated usually i have also found just for pointers that it is possible to become allergic to something without warning no matter how old you are and yhou can also just stop being allergic to something too so its really however you take it id say wait a day and go from there if it persists or worsenes thhen see a doctorWww@Answer-Health@Com
Where did you use this soap!? If only on your left eye area, then you should just stop using the soap and wait!.!.!.
But chances are that you also used the soap on the rest of your face!. If you did, you'd have somekind of a reaction to the soap elsewhere too!.!.!.
