Question: Can someone please help me understand Hep C!?
ok i am a 12 year old and my mom has hep c my moms doctor told her she was not approved for the treatment !. he also told her that her liver was in very poor condition!. She smokes and drinks (she wont attempt to quit eather) he is 50 years old!. could you give me your best guess on how long she might live!?!? if you need any more info e-mail me back id be glad to send it to you!. can someone tell me what hep c is!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most of the time when a Dr!. denies treatment of Hep-C it's because the liver is too damaged and it would further hurt the patient rather than do any good!. Their is no true way of knowing how long a person with this liver disease will live without being a Dr!. I do know that drinking will only further damage the liver and therefore decrease the time of life!. There are many websites about Hep-C and if your Mom won't tell you more about this I suggest you refer to one of the many websites regarding this matter!. Noone knows the answer to your how long will she live question but it is very important that she stop drinking if she has a bad liver!. Hep C is a liver condition that is spread by coming into contact with blood of a infected person!. Try hepcfight!.com for more info!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
