Question: What makes a 20 year old male just stop breathing!?
he stopped breathing and was rushed to the hospital and the tests came out fine!. now they want to do a cat scan of the heart!. what does that mean!? he is a little under weight and very picky about what he eats and he only drinks water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Respiratory arrest is the cessation of breathing!. It is a medical emergency and it usually is related to or coincides with a cardiac arrest!. Causes include opiate overdose, head injury, anaesthesia or drowning!. Respiratory arrest is treated initially with Artificial ventilation, together with treatment of the likely cause!.

its possible that because he is under weight and is picky about what he eats that he may be anorexic or bulimic and no one knows it (he could be hiding it) or if he isn't, the fact that he is picky his body is reacting the same as if he were anorexic!. he might need to push his pickyness to the side and eat moreWww@Answer-Health@Com
