Chances are if you got it from someone in town and live in a small town, then there are many people in your town who have it, they just don't admit it!. Warts are one of the most common STD's around and will not hinder your life in any way, trust me!. And although you may not believe it now, very few men will refuse to date you because of it!. All you gotta do is wear a condom, there is also a vaccine now for genital warts so a potential partner can get the vaccine and you're good to go!. You can also have children at any time with no worries, even if you have visible warts!. The placenta protects the baby from contracting it!. The thing about genital warts is your immune system is pretty good at fighting them!. Although you can't ever get rid of the virus, once all the warts are gone from an outbreak, most people don't have another for many years, and as you get older your immune system gets better at fighting it until, usually, people stop getting them entirely!. What worries me is your doctor, it seems that either they are scaring you for absolutely no reason, or they havn't properly explained to you what you have!. If they are in fact small genital warts on your cervix, there is no need to remove them, your immune system will get rid of them on it's own over time (a few months or so)!. In fact leaving them for your immune system to fight off is probably a better choice because then it only will strengthen your immune system lowering your chances of another outbreak!. If your doctor is saying they could become cancerous however, then you probably don't even have genital warts, since genital warts aren't cancerous, but other strains of HPV are (HPV by the way is extremely common, 98% of all people will get some form of it in their lifetime)!. Go to a different doctor, your current one obviously isn't very good at explaining what happens when you have genital warts!. Im from a small town also, but I know tons of people who have genital warts!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.they tend to be more rampant in small towns since there is a smaller pool of sexual partners!. This doesn't necessarily mean that these people let it be known they have it!. I would never have known some of my friends who have it if they hadn't told me! Feel free to email me with anymore questions or concerns, or for personal stories!. Please don't stress, it may seem like the world is ending right now but it isn't, I know it may not feel this way at the moment, but it's really no big deal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
