An A1C will give you a 3 month average of your blood sugar numbers!. A "big picture" of your numbers!.

HBA1C is also called glycosylated Hemoglobin!. Sugar molecules in the blood tend to stick to haemoblibin and the higher the sugar levels in blood, the more haemoblobin molecules will be glycosilated!. As the lifespan of Hb is approx 120 days, the percentge of glycosilated hemoglobin gives an idea about the average blood sugar levels in the past 3-4 months!. the normal value is less than 6!.2 %, Above 7% needs treatmentWww@Answer-Health@Com

The HbA1C is the average percent of glucose in you blood for the last three month!. A very telling test and hard to fool!. The Daily finger prick test is a spot test for the time of the sample!.
