Question: Is he cheating!?
I have been with my fiancee for almost 5 years!. He claims he never cheated on me!. Recently I found out I have herpes type 1!. He hasn't been tested yet but he will be soon but I'm sure he has it too!. My doctor said either one of us could've had it before dating each other and never showed any sysmptoms until now!. So far I've had one outbreak recently but he hasn't had any!. Anyway I know there are many possiblities so I believe he didn't get it from someone during our relationship!.
Now there's something else!.!.!.!.!.!.!.I have been noticing these red spots on my skins!. I had one on my neck, face, thigh, and leg!. They disappeared after a while, expect for the one on my leg its still there!. I read up on it and it might be one of the first syptoms of AIDS!. I'm really scared and I don't know what to do!. If he did cheat on me how can I know if he never tells me about it!? Is there any way to get him to admit it!? FYI I have been faithful to him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can NOT assume he's cheating from this!!!
There are thousands and thousands of children with HSV1 from having Aunt Fannie & Grannie kiss them while they had a cold sore - because most older people have NO IDEA they are giving a child herpes - they don't believe cold sores are herpes!.!.!.but they are! (my older sister insists they're "stress blisters")
So even VIRGINS can have HSV1!.
You didn't say if it was oral or genital!.!.!.so:
If you just have cold sores on your mouth - he may have given it to you you from a sore in his mouth that he hadn't noticed!?!? or if you have it genitally - from oral sex!.!.!.
He likely "didn't know" he had it - since most people with herpes do not know!
If he has prior sex partners (not in the last 5 years) he may have had genital herpes all that time and didn't know! He might have such a mild case that he thought it was an ingrown-hair or zit!
***as for your AIDS question*** Have you been bitten by a mosquito a few times!? Those spots could be many many things - including stress from worrying about the entire situation! Have the AIDS test re-done in 3 months and it will be 100% accurate!.!.!.They recommend testing now & again in 3 months to be sure!.!.!.but I think you're just over-reactingWww@Answer-Health@Com

your doctor is right!. either one of u could have had it before ever meeting each other!. he could be a carrier who shows little to no signs or symptoms of an out break!. aids is another thing that he COULD have had before meeting u!. just ask him and tell him to give u the truth because u deserve to know, or get him to have an AIDS test done!.

I think he is cheating!.It sounds like he contracted the STD somewhere else during your relationship and pass it to you!.On the other hand,did you slept with anyone shortly before meeting him!?

It is possible for one of you to have herpes before you started dating, my friend got herpes when she was 16 years old and she is now 27 and through all of those years she has only 2 outbreaks that I know about, so you can go many years without outbreaks so that means that you can have it and not know either!. I also remember when she first got it she use to have dark patches,on her skin, mind you we are african american so that's probably why her patches were dark!. I don't think that is a sign of AIDS I think that has something to do with the herpes!. It's hard to say stay calm but you do have to because if not you will stress yourself and cause more outbreaks, there are alot of people living normal lives with herpes you just don't know about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
HIV/AIDs can take a long time to show up!. Some times years!. If you had AIDs though I would guarantee you would be very sick!. I don't think AIDs takes very long to show up!. I have heard that HIV can take years to show up!. Usually when you start getting red bumbs with AIDs it is end stage I believe!. Usually Drs ask you to come back in 6 months after your 1st test!. People can live a long time with HIV!.!.but AIDs is a lot more serious!. I doubt you have AIDs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
