I get those too sometimes! It's caused by shaving your armpits!. Either you have sensitive skin or the hairs that are growing back are geting trapped, causing an infection in the follicle!. There are a couple things you can do!. Try switching your razor, or disinfect the one you're using (dip it in rubbing alcohol or hyrdogen peroxide and let it sit in that for a couple hours), or after shaving put baby oil or some kind of moisturizer to prevent irritation!. Also, what works for me, is using what I use for my acne on my face (acne lotion, astringent, even wash)!. Anything with Salicylic Acid or Benzoyl Peroxide will kill the bacteria and help soothe, heal, and prevent further breakouts!.

I also hear Tend Skin (oil of some sort) works really well, although I've never tried!. Here are some links: http://www!.tendskin!.com/tendskin!.htm
http://www!.drugstore!.com/templates/brand!.!.!.

You can buy it online (amazon!.com, drugstore!.com) for sure, but I'm not sure where to buy offline!? I hear Sephora carries it, so probably other department stores do too!.

Hope that helps, good luck! =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

Those are ingrown hairs, ingrown hairs happen when you shave, and the new hair can't quite break the surface of your skin, causing that little red sore bump, people get them alot on their armpits, genitals, butt, and legs, basically anywhere you shave they can pop up!. You can either pop the little suckers, wait for them to go away, or several people make ointments and creams for this sort of thing!. Good Luck :D!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know about getting rid of them in the immediate future!.!. If its prickly heat than try and keep yourself dry and cool in that area!. It could also be a contact dermatitis from a deodorant your using, try changing that; or a reaction to the detergent in your cloths!. Also don't shave or shave very carefully until it does clear up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it could be u need a new razor, an remember never let others use your razor or deodorant!. the arm pit has many lil pockets an sweat glands an there is no need to irritate them by using unsanitary products!. believe me i yell at my daughter all the time for sharing some of those things when her friends sleep over!. no biggy also i would try a different deodorant maybe the one u r using is not good for u!. good luck :) Deanna:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

When i was first going through puberty i had the same problem!. Try proactive or even your own face wash!. Most people only put it on their faces but it actually relieves acne for places all over the body!. It worked really well for me, but it has not worked for everyone but i wish you the best of luck and it should work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like ingrown hairs, not acne!. Try exfoliating under your arms!. Do it at night right before a day when you can stay home - so you can skip a day of deodorant while it heals!.

And then exfoliate regularly to keep it from happening!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hey hun!. It could be the type of deodorant you are using so maybe try switching to a more gentle brand that wont irrate the skin!.!. Also if your razor isn't really sharp that could also be the problem!. Try a good quality razor and maybe some shaving cream that helps with senstive skin!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

It is razor burn!. Sorry to say this, but stop shaving for about 4 or 5 days to let it heal, then make sure you always use a good clean and sharp razor with plenty of soap or shaving cream to avoid razor burn!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i get them too, its from your deodorant clogging the pores of your armpits along with heat rash and the sweat!.!. i suggest a new deodorant and you can pop them but it hurts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

this is not armpit acne!. it is razor burn!. the pores of ur skin puff up and when u shave, the razor cuts the tops, making razor burn!. put lotion on after u shave to aviod having those razor burn bumps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

ingrown hairs possiblyWww@Answer-Health@Com
